Maddy Schmitt 10/18/10 English Period 4 High School Decision essay
When I was in Middle 8th I had to start thinking and deciding on Where I wanted to go to High School. I enjoyed my old school which I Had been going to for 5 years, which was a private Catholic school. I Am excited to be going to a new school meet new friends and teacher s. It is a hard decision for me because a bunch of my friends from 8th Grade is going to Saint Bonaventure but I want to go to foothill Technology high School.
When making my decision on the two different High Schools I wanted to go to it was pretty easy. I had Saint Bonaventure and Foothill Technology High School both in my head. I thought about going to Saint Bonaventure where all my classmates where going but it was just another private catholic. I was ready for a change. My other choice was FTHS, which I really wanted to go to my heart, told me so. I knew I could use something new and I would have great cases and teachers. I all the people I knew said I would love it. It’s a great school one of the topped ranked in the nation. When I was doing my research I talked to people who went and taught there. I looked on the website and I went and looked around. I knew I wanted to go here all along especially since it is a newer school with great computer technology since I like till work on computer
After I talked to everyone I decided that I really wanted to go to Foothill. That is what I thought all along. I finally decided on Foothill, which is where I wanted to go all along, but the big decision was based on the lottery and if I would get into such a great school.
After all I got into Foothill tech High school and absolutely love it. It is one of the top ranked school in the nation it is a privilege to be going here. The teachers and classes are great. It is definitely a big change from last in a good way. I am so proud and to be going to FTHS.
